Incident Metrics in Kosal - Root Cause Analysis

Overview

Each incident captures relavent metrics data to aid in with the investigations.

View an Incident Metrics

Click on the Metrics tab to see the incident metrics.

RCA Metrics

The Metrics page shows the following:

  1. Time Capsule: This allows you to go back in time and replay the incident.

  2. Anomalous Golden Metrics: This shows all the anomalous golden metrics.

  3. Context Metrics: This captures all the contexual metrics (CPU, Memory, I/O, Network, Container) that are needed to investigate an incident.

  4. Metrics Anomaly Heatmap: This shows the metric anomaly heatmap across different services.

  5. Anomaly List: This shows the anomalous metric services discovered during this incident.
