RCA Assistant


Overview

RCA Assistant is a conversational AI assistant that can answer your questions about an incident.

Use AI Assistant

Report an Incident for Analysis

From the left navigation, select Root Cause Assistant. You will see the RCA dashboard. Click on the AI Assistant icon on the bottom right corner to open the assistant.

User Reported Incident

In the above example, your customer is experiencing slowness in checkout cart. After reporting the incident, CloudAEye analyzes all the available data and provides the root cause analysis with a detailed explanation and related incident links. This speeds up your MTTR (mean time to repair).

Analyze an Incident

From the left navigation, select Root Cause Analysis. You will see the RCA dashboard. You will see a list of discovered incidents in a table. Select the incident you want to learn more. You will see the overview page for that incident. Click on the AI Assistant icon on the bottom right corner to open the assistant.

You may ask the assistant to summarise the incident or ask any other questions. This generates a natural language summary of the incident.

Incident: Is this issue caused by a recent code change?

You may find out if the incident is potentially caused by a recent code change. This shows all related GitHub pull requests (PR).

Incident: Have we seen this issue before?

You may find out if you have seen this incident before. This shows any related issues that matches with the incident.

You may ask the assistant to generate an external marketing communication about the incident so that you can keep your customers informed.

You may ask the assistant to generate a one-page summary about the incident that can be used by customer support team members.
