CloudAEye in Cursor¶
Install the CloudAEye plugin to describe changes and review code in Agent chat. See the prerequisites.
1. Install the plugin¶
- Open Customize > Plugins.
- Choose Add > From GitHub Repository and enter
https://github.com/CloudAEye/claude-plugin. - Install cloudaeye from the imported marketplace.
- Reload Cursor and start a new chat.
For centrally managed installations, ask your administrator to add the repository to your team's marketplace. See Cursor plugin installation.
2. Connect and authenticate¶
Open Customize > MCPs and enable the plugin's CloudAEye connection. The MCP endpoint must be:
https://api.cloudaeye.com/mcp
Cursor uses the plugin's cursor/mcp.json, not the root .mcp.json.
Its OAuth bridge requires Node.js/npm and uses mcp-remote@0.14.3 over STDIO.
Complete browser sign-in, organization selection, and consent.
The bridge handles authentication without exposing credentials in chat. Keep the plugin's native-client metadata and compatibility rules enabled. Disable duplicate CloudAEye connections.
3. Run a skill¶
In Agent chat, type / and select CloudAEye's init, then describe.
Select review for uncommitted changes or append #412 for an eligible PR.
3.1 Help and Commands¶
For the complete command catalog, run
CloudAEye's help or see Skills & Commands reference guide.
