CloudAEye DevProd GitHub Application¶
Welcome to the GitHub Application for CloudAEye DevProd! This plugin grants read access for content, action, pull request and read-write access for webhooks to selected repositories, allowing for the indexing of their code.
Setting up the GitHub Application¶
Installation¶
WARNING Do not directly click the button above to kick-start the installation. Instead, use the set up UI that will connect the GitHub app with your account.
Step 1: Navigating through CloudAEye Setup¶
After picking the plan for Code Review, you will see a page that asks you to connect GitHub.
Step 1.1: Authorize GitHub App¶
Click on Connect GitHub
button to set up the GitHub App. You will see a page that asks you to autherize installation of the GitHub app.
Step 1.2: Select GitHub Repositories¶
Click on Authorize CloudAEye
button. You will see a page that asks you to select the GitHub repositories.
You may select all the repositories or only the ones that you plan to use in Code Review
.
Click on Install
to complete the GitHub app setup.
Step 2: Post Install Configuration¶
Step 2.1: Navigating through CloudAEye Console¶
Post installation you will be redirected to cloudaeye console and you will see below screen. Click on the Configure
link to configure the GitHub application.
You will go to the configuration page of the cloudaeye console to connect your Github repositories Github Repository.
